The Role

We are looking for an experienced and passionate security officer to join our team. As a security officer, you will undertake the surveillance of our premises and the protection of our staff and visitors. Ensuring the building is kept secure from theft and damage. To have excellent customer service in order to Host visitors coming on site.

Key responsibilities:

  • To maintain all company standards to the highest level, delivering a prompt and courteous service at all times
  • To assist the manager in all aspects of the security department and in the absence of the Manager undertake responsibilities as directed
  • Be proficient in obtaining witness statements, writing incident reports
  • Record all relevant incidents in the door occurrence book
  • Comply with the code of practice for security staff
  • To be trained in first aid emergency techniques and fire safety
  • Investigate, administrate and report all accidents with an emphasis on incidents
  • Conduct bag and locker searches only in accordance with company guidelines

Person specification:

  • Registered as a security officer
  • Knowledge of state laws and regulations
  • Working knowledge of public safety, security operations, and procedures
