The Role
We have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Retail Manager to join our Retail Team to help build, inspire and oversee a team of assistant managers and volunteers to deliver a first class customer service experience when visiting our stores.
You will be instrumental in ensuring our stores are promoting events, ensuring the stock is compliant with trading standards and merchandised effectively in order to maximise sales. You will be experienced in recruiting, training and managing staff and be fully versed in all aspects of retail management including stock taking, banking and maintaining quality customer service.
Key responsibilities:
- Leading, managing & coaching colleagues and teams to create a ‘winning’ store culture
- Ensuring key store compliances are being met including stock control, health and safety, and people rostering
- Lead the way in ensuring store standards are consistently at the highest level
- Liaising and keeping in contact with key account customers
- Managing people responsibilities – Recruitment, HR, probation/people reviews
- Work with the wider business to improve the store brand within London communities
Person specification:
- Proven experience as retail manager or in other managerial position
- Analytical mind and familiarity with data analysis principles
- Excellent knowledge of retail management software (e.g. MS RMS)
- BSc/BA in business administration, sales or relevant field; MSc/MA is desirable

- Have the ability to use own initiative and to resolve problems
