Role: Production Manager

Job Type: Full-time; Permanent

The Role

We are looking for a highly organized Production Manager to create production schedules, oversee production processes and ensure that the required materials are selected and purchased. 

As a Production Manager, you will take ownership of ensuring the smooth running of the production facility with product quality and customer satisfaction at the core of all you do.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the Production Planner to minimise waste and improve production levels
  • Overseeing the compliance across the business
  • Working with suppliers to negotiate and improve services such as packaging or delivery
  • Analysing data to assist with forecasting to help increase sales and profitability
  • Take responsibility for the development and execution of local manufacturing strategy, as well as team and personnel management

Person specification:

  • Previous experience in supplier selection and contract negotiation
  • Previous experience in budgeting, financial review and costing preferred
  • Must be a strong change agent, problem solver, and possess business acumen

  • Excellent analytical and people skills, a team player that leads by example
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across multicultural levels of the organization
  • Ability to manage simultaneous urgent tasks, and work in fast-paced, seasonal business
