The Role

We are looking for a reliable Office Assistant who is willing to help the company operate day to day so employees can perform to their highest ability.

Key responsibilities:

  • Performs clerical duties, including, but not limited to, mailing and filing correspondence, preparing payrolls, placing orders, and answering calls
  • Interacts with clients, visitors, and vendors
  • Sorts and distributes incoming mail
  • Arranges meetings by reserving rooms and managing refreshments
  • Types correspondence, meeting notes, and forms among other documents
  • Photocopies, scans, and files appropriate documents
  • Maintaining office equipment as needed
  • Aiding with client reception as needed

Person specification:

  • Office assistant and / or office management experience
  • Additional language skills
  • Familiarity with the industry
  • Previous tech startups experience

Desirable skills / expertise:

  • Excellent time-management, organisational and multitasking skills
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • An ability and desire to learn new skills quickly
  • Genuine passion for technology and the publishing industry
  • Fluent written and spoken English
