Role: IT Manager

The Role
We are looking for an IT Manager to be responsible and accountable for the smooth running of our computer systems within the limits of requirements, specifications, costs and timelines.
The IT Manager will have excellent leadership and communication skills, with the capability to manage and develop their team to achieve outstanding results.
Key responsibilities:
- Review IT systems and Services
- Agree protocol and process for internal support
- Establish a plan to be developed to ensure we have:
- Appropriate support processes and mechanisms
- Required levels of security of network and hardware
- Back-up and disaster recovery and testing of such plans
- Migrate to cloud
- Medium term plan and 12 months Operating and Financial Budget
- Managing Desktop imaging service and engineers (client facing service)
Person specification:
- 7+ years’ experience with relevant qualifications
- Very operational and capable to develop an IT medium term operational and financial plan
- Varied knowledge of IT, including servers, desktop, networks, firewalls
- Experience in a similar IT Management position
