The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a Hospitality Assistant to join our catering team. This is a great opportunity for a customer focused individual to join a world leading food and facilities management company, which can offer unrivalled opportunities for career progression.
Key responsibilities:
- Monitor all foods served to service users and rooms via hot/cold trolley, sweet trolley ensuring maximum hygiene standards and presentation
- Keep clean furniture, dining tables, chairs and mats
- Stock take all table Linen, restaurant cutlery and crockery monthly and record
- Serve lunch and other foods as required and in accordance with current hygiene regulations
- Ensure cleaning schedule is carried out daily
- Be efficient and professional when serving food
- Change tablecloths and napkins, ensuring these items are clean and ironed
- Ensure refreshments are always available
- Menus changed daily on tables
Person specification:
- Previous experience in a hotel or food service environment
- A food handler’s license
- Sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations
- A passion for food and service
Desirable skills / expertise:
- Good people skills enabling great interaction and relationships with teams, customers and clients
- Able to plan and work under pressure
- The role demands flexibility in regards to tasks and rotating shifts
- Attention to details is imperative
