Role: Chef de Partie

The Role
The Chef De Partie role is to act as a vital part of the team by ensuring the smooth operation of an outlet and supporting the Restaurant Manager with management tasks and ensuring the highest standard of food production and service. You’ll be responsible for the operation and organisation of the Kitchen by setting daily production levels and guidelines and delegating to the team.
Key responsibilities:
- Responsible for the H&S in your section
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and food safe working area
- Maintain a clean uniform
- Food stock; ordering, stock counts and COS% reporting
- Maintain the food quality standards at all time
- Attend all training sessions for the culinary team
- Responsible for the safe opening and closing of the designated culinary area
- General maintenance of all culinary areas, equipment, and F&F’s
Person specification:
- Food handlers certified
- 3 years’ experience working in industry kitchen
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food storage
- Ensure adherence to all relevant health, safety and hygiene standards
Desirable skills / expertise:
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Great time management skills.
- Great communication and interpersonal skills
