The Role

As Bartender you will bring with you a thorough knowledge of market-leading wine, spirits and beers, as well as cocktail-making experience in a quality hospitality environment. An excellent and confident communicator, you will motivate the people around you, working with our Bar Manager to surpass the exceptional standards of service and quality that our guests expect.
Key responsibilities:
- Mixing beverages using an extensive range of ingredients including liquor, bitters, soda, water, sugar, and fruits
- Taking beverage orders from customers or wait staff and serving drinks as requested, paying extreme attention to detail
- Recording guest orders and providing recommendations when asked
- Upselling drinks to maximize profits
- Educating customers on our menu concept and ingredients we use
- Providing excellent and timely customer service
- Serve guests responsibly to ensure they are safe
- Stocking the bar inventory when needed
- Other duties as required
Person specification:
- 2+ years of bartending experience
- Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
- Relevant training certificate is a plus
- Passion for food and beverage and willingness to learn
- Ambitious and hard working
- Good communication and personal presentation
Desirable skills / expertise:
- Strong knowledge of cocktails and beverage
- Strong service skills in bar operations
- Team player
- Service expert in all areas of bar disciplines
