Role: Assistant Manager

The Role
We are searching for a new Assistant Manager to join our team. As Assistant Manager, you’ll bring your experience to the table. From the moment you step through the door, you lead by example. You will also assist in making sure the team adheres to company policies, resolving customer complaints, leading the team, and organizing the team schedule.
Key responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in the day to day running of the business
- Manage reports and personnel documents, including payroll
- Monitor and provide feedback to managed staff to effect improvements in organizational goals
- Keeping day-to-day activities organised
- Managing projects as assigned and organising teams to assist in these efforts
- Handling customer complaints and resolving issues that employees are not authorised to handle on their own
Person specification:
- BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MA is a plus
- Stable work history
- Must be self-motivated and possess the desire for self-development
- Experience with recruiting and performance evaluation processes
- Familiarity with financial and customer service principles
Desirable skills / expertise:
- Ability to Work Well Under Pressure
- Proven leadership skills with a history of effective management
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to positively interact with staff and clients
- Excellent time management
- Confident, proactive and willing to take on challenges
