Overview

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, the Warehousing and Manufacturing Operative will be responsible for warehousing duties including driving fork lift trucks, the manufacture of wheelchairs, servicing of medical equipment such as plinths and beds in hospitals and community settings, and general manufacturing tasks.

A driving licence is essential as is experience in manufacturing/assembly. A fork lift licence would be desirable. Candidates should be capable of working under their own initiative both in the warehouse/manufacturing premises and off site in hospitals and community healthcare settings and accordingly an enhanced DBS check will be required, paid for by the Company.

Other than a valid driving licence, qualifications are not essential for a candidate with the relevant experience. A fork lift licence would be an advantage as would previous warehousing experience.

Salary of £15,268.50 – £20,000.00 will be paid depending on candidate for a 37.5 hour week Mon-Fri 9.00am – 5.00pm
