RepairRite carry out Home Insurance repairs within privately owned properties & are now looking for someone preferably, in their late 20’s or early 30’s who is physically, fit, has their own van, own tools and a clean driving licence.

The job role would include anything from removing plaster from walls affected by a leak, stripping wall paper, removing ceilings, re-boarding ceilings, removing flooring, laminate, wall & floor tiles, bagging up debris to drop off into our skip in Wickford, collection of materials for delivery to sites, disposing of materials into our skip & general semi-labouring duties.

Preferably, the candidate will have some Building knowledge/experience, should have a knowledge of Health & Safety awareness. The candidate will have to travel from job to job & to drop into the Wickford office to collect keys, drop off material debris etc.

You will be self employed and have a current UTR number (unique tax reference number) & will invoice the Company on a monthly basis. You will also, need your own Public Liability insurance.

Although the role is initially a self employed position, we may decide, for the right person, to make the position a PATE role in the future.

The day rate payable will be £100 – £120 per day subject to the nature of the work – this will be subject to CIS Tax
