The successful candidate will be expected to be up to speed with Microsoft Office in terms of listing and the analysis of clients documentation. Further skills would include an understanding of VAT, double entry bookkeeping, payroll would also be an advantage. That said we would expect to bring the candidate up to speed with our systems. The candidate would need to be prepared to engage in learning to operate certain areas of differing on-line cloud based systems, and given time prepare documentation to a trial balance stage.
We are a small but fast growing practice based in Lincoln providing financial and taxation services to individual sole traders through to small to medium corporate entities. The directors of the business have between them over 50 years experience in advising clients in terms of business development and future funding. The staff comprise of mixed skill sets from 38 years administrative experience within the public service sector to public house management and retail service management dealing with all aspects of accounting, payroll, pensions, etc. We act as a team supporting each other with the interaction and cross fertilization of skills within the group, therefore the successful applicate will be expected to work within the team as we bring them up to speed learning new skills. There will be an opportunity to attend an external college to further qualifications, depending on how well the applicate develops in the initial period.
