Production Welder Job in Blackpool, Lancashire at Northern Neon Lights LTD

Northern Neon Lights is a small business in Blackpool. We are professional and agile.

Duties:
– Perform welding operations on various metal components, including Aliminuim/ Stainless Steel.
– Read and interpret drawings, and specifications to determine the appropriate welding techniques and procedures
– Set up and operate welding equipment, such as MIG, TIG, or stick welders, to join metal parts together
– Inspect welds for quality and accuracy, making any necessary adjustments or repairs
– Use hand tools and power tools to cut, shape, and fabricate metal materials
– Assist in the assembly and installation of fabricated components
– Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Qualifications:
– Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles and techniques
– Familiarity with codes and standards related to welding processes
– Proficiency in soldering, pipe threading, rigging, fabricating, plasma cutting, and forklift operation is preferred
– Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately
– Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot welding issues
– Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects as required
– Previous experience in welding or a related field is preferred but not required
