Staffordshire, Stoke on Trent, Part Time £10k - £15k
Due to the retirement of the current position holder the Company is now looking for a replacement. The position is for 20 hours/5 days per week. Work time is within usual office hours but can be taken flexibly, when possible. Partial working from home is also possible. The Company offers competitive pay including a Group Pension Scheme and annual bonus.
Reporting to the Business Manager, the Office Administrator will be working with a small group to organise all office functions.
*Processing of purchases for office requirements, factory raw materials, consumables and equipment
*Data entry/Document processing into our storage system, Virtual Cabinet
*Processing of sales orders
*Phone service, taking and responding to calls
*Processing samples and packaging for customers
*Interaction with production
*Holiday cover for colleagues
*Transport documentation and organisation
Person specification: the candidate is likely to be an office administrator or clerk with a track record in the relevant functions, preferably in a manufacturing company. Experience in domestic and export shipping of would would be a plus.
In addition good knowledge of Microsoft Office software is required.
The personal qualities of flexibility, resilience, accuracy and trustworthiness will be important. A “hands-on” and “getting things done” mentality will be appreciated. The capacity to meet tight deadlines is essential.
