Schools Link liaison Job in Ealing, London at Ealing Music Therapy

A Link Liaison person is required to provide support to our Music Therapy team and act as a link with the schools in which we provide a Music Therapy service.  The hours will be variable, but expected to be typically between 0 and 3hrs per week, and directed by the Ealing Music Therapy Board of Trustees such that actual tasks and working hours each week are agreed in advance.  This may include daytime and evening meetings.

The successful candidate will be required to write reports, attend school meetings and meet with Music Therapists and representatives of EMT.  Additional training as required for this specific work will be supported.

Remuneration       £20 per hour, a minimum of 1 hour per week will be remunerated in working weeks where no hours are required.

EMT is a flourishing and expanding community organisation, started in 1986 and now an independent charity.  Music Therapists provide weekly individual and small group sessions, either in person or online as required by the school, for children and young people (aged 0 – 19 years) with a wide range of special needs and disabilities.  The service is provided at a number of locations in the Borough of Ealing.  Therapists and the Link Liaison person are accountable to an elected Board of Trustees, which consists of professionals and committed members of the local community.  This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in working with a dynamic community organisation.
