We are a small food company based in SE London specialising in the sale, distribution and manufacturing of various nuts and nut products. We are currently looking for a full time warehouse operative to support our team in the day-to-day operations of the business. This position will be based in our on-site warehouse and will cover all aspects of our goods-in and -out process, from accepting deliveries and carrying out basic quality checks on new products to appropriately storing all items in an organised manner, picking and packing customer orders, preparing pallets for dispatch and liaising with the production team to ensure our warehouse is fully stocked and well organised at all times.
We are looking for someone who is eager to learn and progress in a fun and challenging environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail across all tasks. Borna is a small company so everybody is expected to get stuck in and help out across the business – this certainly won’t be a boring role! The ideal candidate will be able to follow instructions fully, possess good communication and organisational skills, be able to work independently and importantly be keen to take ownership of a role that has a lot of potential for growth.
Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred. The ideal candidate should have good spoken and written English and be comfortable using basic computer software. Prior training to operate counterbalance forklifts is ideal, as is a basic food hygiene certificate, however both of these can be provided. Due to the nature of the job, heavy lifting is required.
Borna is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, disability, age, or veteran status.
