We are looking for a competent reliable operative with a clean driving license for a permanent position cleaning wheelie bin to join our small team at Green Cleen (North London) based in Hertfordshire, covering Barnet, Haringey and surrounding areas. Good people skills are essential as we are a small team that pride ourselves on great customer service.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, polite and proactive individual that has a reliable can-do attitude to hard work and managing their own day. It is an all-weather lone job and helps if you are physically fit as some of the work is labour intensive and working under time constraints to get the job done within the day.
You will be responsible for running your own company truck with specialist cleaning equipment and you will need to be conscientious and motivated to keep your vehicle tidy and clean as part of your daily duties. On going it will be your responsibility to to keep on top of basic maintenance so that your vehicle works efficiently and effectively.
Skills for this are fluency and confidence in spoken English. As well as literacy and basic numeracy skills are essential as some record keeping and receiving payments may be required. The ideal candidate also will be given a phone and we do all work via a web based app so you need to be proficient in following a GPS optimised route planner to aide with your work plan. A respect for the road is also part of the job as driving cautiously and carefully are part of the specification and responsibility of the driver as they are operating a very heavy vehicle that holds a lot of water on it by nature of the job.
For our insurance protocol the ideal candidate will be aged over 25 and hold a full, clean UK driving license with a minimum of 5 years experience.
A good sense of direction,and knowledge of the local areas would be beneficial. Also to be able navigate through London traffic using Satnav due to the nature of the job is key. Assistance and support back up will be given with route planning and marketing.
