Kennel / Cattery Assistant

In this role, you will be required to:

Care for the dogs and cats within our care
Preparing food and feeding (including special diets)
Giving animals tablets or medicine (if required)
Brushing/Cleaning animals
Exercising dogs through play or walks
Keeping kennels/cattery clean and hygienic, changing bedding, hosing/sweeping out and removing waste.
Making sure cats have facilities in their pens for exercise e.g., toys, etc.
Greeting visitors/clients and showing them around
Good communication skills
Keeping all areas around the kennels/cattery clean and tidy
Assisting with training classes (if required)
Any other related tasks that are required

Desirable:

Driving Licence – due to place of work

Animal Care/Management Course
