Job Opportunity: Part-Time Office Assistant for a Private Functional Medicine Practice

Are you a self-motivated, detail-oriented individual with a knack for organisation and a passion for helping others? We’re looking for a dynamic Office Assistant to join our small, one-person Functional Medicine practice. If you’re computer literate, familiar with Apple Mac, and have experience with accounting software, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

• Manage Inventory: Keep our small stock maintained with weekly reconciliation of inventory and manage product orders.

• Accounting Tasks: Reconcile card transactions with product purchases and client sales, using Xero Accounting software or similar tools.

• Invoice Management: Raise and manage invoices for patients, ensuring everything is accurate and up-to-date.

• Organise Lab Tests: Coordinate and organise external laboratory tests for our clients.

• Learn and Grow: Be willing to learn new aspects of the business and take on additional responsibilities as needed.

• Adapt and Prioritise: Quickly adapt to changing priorities to match the business’s needs while maintaining a keen sense of when to take initiative and when to seek guidance.

What You’ll Need:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, especially Excel.

• Experience with Xero or other accounting software.

• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

• able to work in a home office environment

• Fluent English skills, both written and spoken.

• Ability to live and work in the UK.

• Two references from previous employers.
