Job description & general duties:

LiberHouse Ltd is looking for a Woodworking Operative to produce modular timber frame systems for domestic garden buildings. The job will be based in our workshop and will also include on site assembly at customer’s premises and participation at gardening shows.

Hours of work:
As required according to the requirements of the particular job

General duties:
Working to production schedules, including personnel and material management
Cutting of components from cutting lists and drawings using woodworking machinery
Assembly of components into timber frame panels using hand-held woodworking machinery
Finishing work using spray painting
Finishing work applying EPDM rubber sheet to roof panels
Cutting and finishing work on small metalwork items
General workshop/yard duties such as tool and machinery maintenance
Assisting in loading and unloading deliveries
Assemblying the frames on site. You may be required to drive vehicles

Requirements:
You will:
have meticulous attention to detail and have a willingness to work to high standards of workmanship with meticulous attention to detail
be able to interpret drawings and cutting lists
be punctual, reliable, conscientious and be willing to take instruction
be able to work as part of a team using your initiative to ensure the workshop runs efficiently
have good physical fitness as this role involves movement of heavy panels
be able to provide references for previous work
preferably have a full UK driving license
