Warehouse Operative Job in Caldicot, Monmouthshire at Buildsafe Trading LLP

Overview

We provide pallet racking to private buyers and companies. Due to an increase in demand we are looking for a new warehouse operative to work two days a week initially. This is a physically demanding job, in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

Carrying out the processing of pallet racking orders, picking the orders to meet specific requirements. Making order adjustments where necessary, preparing orders for transport. Pallet racking is large and heavy. Whilst we use forklifts and other lifting tools, there will be requirements for lifting of heavy items. Full training will be provided for this.

On occasion you will be required to assist with the other part of the business, which is removals and storage. This will involve attending the jobs with the removals team, and assisting with the removals of properties. Again, this involves heavy lifting and will have full training provided.

Qualifications

No formal qualifications required.

A driving licence is preferable.

Physically able to carry out heaving lifting for extended periods

Previous experience with pallet racking (preferred)
