Tekla Steel Detailer (Drafter, Draughts Person) Job in Harrow, Greater London at ASME Engineering Ltd

THE CANDIDATE
·         Minimum 1 years experience in the steelwork industry

·         Tekla/Structural steel experience required (Min 1 years continuous use required, refer to below sequence)

·         Good timekeeping, organisation skills and high levels of attention to detail

·         Autocad or other 2D packages are not the required level for this role, please only apply if you have at the minimum 1 years continuous steel         detailing using Tekla Structures

 

SEQUENCE OF DRAWING
Tender Stage

·         Generate 3D Tekla models at tender stage in collaboration with estimating team. Take off for estimation

 

Design Stage

·         Generate 3D Tekla models at Design Stage to both Engineer and Architect’s specifications.

·         Generate 2D drawings: A1 Foundation plan(s), A1 General arrangement drawings, A1 3D isometric drawings

·         Update drawings in conjunction with design team and clients comments, overlay with site survey (cloud point survey) carry out clash detection.

 

Production Stage

All drawings to state the Grade and the Subgrades of steel, Finishes, Weld sizes, Weld Symbols and any other relevant guidance notes for the fabricators from the approved Drawings, Calculation and Specification.

·         A3 Detailed Fabrication and Assembly Drawings

·         A4 Fitting Drawings & Shaft Drawings

·         3D Isometric Drawings Showing Member Marks

·         Updated 3D interactive model for review

·         Full Material Lists, including Bolt Lists

·         CD Rom Back-up Disk for Client Use

·         CNC Output
