We realise there are different levels of dental nurses, are you: competent in helping deliver complex restorative dental treatments including bonding, erosion, attrition, full mouth rehabilitation and dental implants; or maybe this is the level you are looking to advance to?

At Solutions Dental we are expanding our team and we are looking for a Dental Nurse who can be involved in the managing of the surgery and delivery of all aspects involved, including complex advanced treatments.

We operate both in house and external continued professional development programs and we cover the investment in CPD training, verifiable/compulsory CPD for our staff.  We encourage extra duties and furthering an individual’s scope of practice in order to fulfil a nurse’s full potential.  GDC registration/uniforms/and indemnity is covered by the practice for the successful applicants – subject to contract.

The responsibility of this position will consist of:

Keeping all clinical instruments clean, tidy and sterile in accordance to best practice – on a daily basis a full auditing tool is provided and further training for this will be given.
The ‘Compliance’ software will prompt individuals to complete daily tasks – we have been awarded ‘Outstanding’ in this area.
Provide and maintain chair-side assistance whilst accurately completing patient clinical records as instructed – we use a dental software system, for which training will be given.
Ensure the care and well being of patients at all times and ensure smooth patient communications and verbatim notes/the transfer of records between the clinicians, reception and patients.
Ensure adequate stocks of materials and personal protection equipment and maintain equipment logs.
Be able to communicate well with patients and make the clinicians aware of any concerns the patients have.
Help patients to confidently complete medical history forms and questionnaires.
Take payments & also make and receive telephone calls if necessary.
Help patients with enquiries regarding practice membership.
Applicants must be willing to undertake an initial trial day and probationary period.
