About the Company

West Street Garage started in 1987, when Andrew Lancaster joined forces with his father Alan and together they formed West Street Garage on West Street, Stamford (hence their trade name).

In 1992 Andrew invited Adrian Tyler, whom he had met whilst serving their apprenticeships at Stamford’s All Saints Garage, to join him and Alan at West Street Garage. Adrian left TC Harrisons where he had served for 10 years as their workshop foreman to join the business and become partners in the business with Andrew and Alan Lancaster.

The three partners moved the business from their existing site on West Street to their current site in Foundry Road, which offered larger premises and an increase in staff, with greater workshop space and good accessible parking.

Alan Lancaster retired from the garage in 2004.

In 2008 Andrew decided to leave the business to pursue new horizons and Adrian continued as sole trader.

On 1st December 2009 West Street Garage became West Street Garage (Stamford) Limited with Adrian becoming the Director.
