About the Company

Whixley Grange Farm is owned by the Voakes family who have farmed in North Yorkshire for over 60 years and hold an exemplary record for animal husbandry which still continues today.

Voakes pork pies are produced from our own stock of pigs which are bred at Whixley Grange. Only the best cuts of pork and carefully selected ingredients are used to produce our award winning pies for today’s discerning market.

The production unit for Voakes Pies is purpose built, providing a superb quality controlled environment in which we can maintain our high standards, and we look forward to the continued expansion of production at Whixley Grange.

We are proud to have recently attained SALSA standard, which involved the cooperation and collaboration of all our staff – SALSA is a food-safety standard written by experienced food safety experts to reflect both the legal requirements of producers and their staff, and the enhanced expectations of ‘best practice’ of professional food buyers.
