One to One

About the Company

One to One is a registered charity number 1174859 and has a team of 3 office staff: manager/fundraiser, co-ordinator and finance officer who are currently funded by the National Community Lottery Fund. The charity has a governing body of trustees.  We provide a befriending service to adults with learning disabilities across County Durham. All of our befrienders are paid, are fully insured and trained. We work closely with social services to provide the ideal befriending situation for client. One to One, formerly The Befriender Scheme has been providing a befriending service for around 25 years.
