About the Company

The Chequers Inn at Bishop Thornton is on the doorstep of the Yorkshire Dales, next-door to the Spa town of Harrogate and the Vale of York, surrounded by beautiful rolling countryside, picturesque villages, grand historic buildings, ruins and gardens such as the World Heritage Site of Fountains Abbey a mere 1 mile down the road. The Walker family have been running the Chequers Inn since Peter Walker purchased the site in July 1964.

With 12 gorgeous bedrooms and a luxury glamping pod, bar, restaurant and hard-standing touring pitches available for those wishing to bring their own campervan or caravan.
